School Library

The school Library is open to all bonafide students of the school. All eligible classes are provided with at least one library period per week. Student have to observe the following rules:
 

  • Books will be issued to students of class V and above.
  • Each student will be issued one book at a time for period of one week. Violation of this norm would invite suitable deterrent action, which may student for a limited period or for the whole academic year.
  • No books will be further issued unless pending items are returned.
  • Strict silence must be maintained in the library.
  • Reference books are not for issue. These books can be replaced by the borrower. Any student found damaging or defacing a book regularly will be debarred from the library for whole academic year and/or will receive a yellow card.
  • Books marked, disfigured or damaged will have to be replaced by the borrower. Any student found damaging or damaging or defacing a book regularly will be debarred from the library for the whole academic year and/or will receive a yellow card.
  • The library has an open access system under the supervision of the librarian and/or the teacher accompanying the children to the library. The students must help to maintain the order and organization of the collection in different shelves. They must place the books in the shelves strictly according to the call nos., after consultation.
  • Students are not allowed to bring their personal books or belongings to the library.
  • Children are required to be seated on the allotted chair with the Roll Nos. pasted on the back of each chair.
